The batteries are 2 years old.  They are 3 Heavy Duty Marine 12 volt batteries totaling 36 volts.

My research has found that 3, 12 volt batteries are ok to use instead of 6, 6 volt batteries, the golf cart will not know the difference.  It will charge with the 36 volt charger that comes with the golf cart.  The only difference is that the 12 volt batteries may not hold a charge has long as long as the 6 volt batteries.  But if you charge the batteries after every use like you should, the charge time should be ok.

If You put a lift kit , bigger tires and change the gears on the golf cart it will make it go faster than factory, about 23 mph.  Do that then it can also go through the trails too.

Electric golf carts are quiet and don't wake campers up.

Perfect to get around in the campground property or to get around in your yard.
